Ingredients

Servings: 3

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup whole milk
1 tsp white vinegar
1/4 cup sliced green onion
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
5 TBSP unsalted butter, melted


Directions

Total Time: 30 minutes

1. Preheat oven to 475°F.

2. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda together in a large mixing bowl.

3. In a small bowl combine the milk, vinegar and 4 TBSP of the butter until the butter forms small clumps.

4. Mix the wet mixture in with the dry mixture until full incorporated. Stir in the cheese and green onions.

5. Scoop the dough mixture in 1/4 cup sizes onto a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 13 to 15 minutes or until tops begin to brown.

6. Brush the remaining 1 TBSP melted butter on top of the biscuits. Let cool 5 minutes. Makes around 6 to 8 biscuits.
