Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper then lay the chicken drumsticks on the parchment paper in a single layer at least 1-inch apart from each other.
In a small bowl mix together the melted butter, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Brush HALF the butter mixture on the top side of the drumsticks and set the remaining butter to the side for later.
Bake the chicken drumsticks in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Take the chicken out of the oven. Flip the chicken drumsticks over then brush the remaining butter mixture on top of the drumsticks.
Return the chicken to the oven and bake for about 20 more minutes or until chicken is cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
