INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup olive oil



DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Line the bottom and sides of an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl mix together all the ingredients until well combined.
  4. Scrape the batter into the baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven until cooked through (a toothpick inserted comes out clean) and lightly browned on top, about 25 minutes.
