Easy Olive Oil Cornbread

Ingredients
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup olive oil

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Line the bottom and sides of an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl mix together all the ingredients until well combined.
- Scrape the batter into the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven until cooked through (a toothpick inserted comes out clean) and lightly browned on top, about 25 minutes.
