Garlicky Artichoke and Olive Spread
An easy to make artichoke dip with a punch of garlic and a little crushed red pepper for heat.

Ingredients
- 14-ounce can of artichoke hearts
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled
- 2 TBSP olive oil
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- salt & pepper
- 1/4 cup roughly chopped black olives
- sliced veggies, pita chips, baguette slices, crackers, etc.
Directions
- Drain and rinse the artichokes.
- Place the artichokes and garlic in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.
- Transfer mixture to a bowl and stir in the olive oil, crushed red pepper, olives, 1/8 tsp salt, and just a dash pepper. Taste and season with additional salt & pepper if necessary.
- Cover and chill for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.
