INGREDIENTS

  • 1 quart strawberries, tops removed
  • 2 TBSP instant pectin



DIRECTIONS

  1. Pour half of the strawberries into a large bowl and mash them with a potato masher.
  2. Cut the rest of the strawberries into bite size pieces and put in the bowl with mashed berries.
  3. Add the pectin and stir together. Pour the mixture into a jar, cover and refrigerate for 3 hours.

Notes

Jam should last covered in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks.
