Add the cottage cheese to a large bowl then mash the cottage cheese using the back of a fork.
Stir the butter in with the cottage cheese until well combined.
Mix in the cream cheese, sour cream, capers, onion, caraway seeds, paprika, mustard, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Line the inside of a small bowl with something to help release the cheese mold later (plastic wrap, cheese cloth, parchment paper, etc.) so that the lining is hanging over the edges of the bowl a little bit.
Spoon the cheese mixture into the lined bowl and spread evenly.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 3 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
When ready to serve remove the cover from the bowl then flip it over onto a serving plate. Lift the bowl and remove the lining off the cheese mold.
