1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese plus extra for serving
DIRECTIONS
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil then cook the pasta about 1 minute shy of the package directions.
Drain the pasta, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta water. Set the drained pasta and pasta water to the side.
Make the sausage by mixing together the ground pork, paprika, garlic, onion, oregano, cayenne, and 1 tsp salt in a large bowl until well combined.
Heat the oil in a dutch oven or large pot over medium heat then brown the sausage, breaking the pork up into small pieces as it cooks, about 10 minutes.
Add the broccoli to the pot along with the reserved pasta water then cook, stirring occasionally, until the broccoli begins to soften, about 2 minutes.
Stir in the cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese and until combined then take the pot off the heat.
Taste and season with additional salt & pepper if needed then serve topped with a little extra freshly grated Parmesan.
