Quick and Delicious Ground Beef Pasta Sauce
Servings: 4
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
28 oz can tomato puree
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 TBSP garlic powder
2 TBSP oregano
1 lb pasta
Parmesan cheese, grated
salt and pepper
Directions
1. In a dutch oven or large sauce pot add the ground beef and onion and cook over medium heat breaking up beef for about 6 minutes.
2. Stir in the tomato puree, water, 2 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of pepper, garlic powder and oregano. Bring to a slight boil.
3. Cover and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes stirring occasionally. Salt and pepper to taste.
4. Meanwhile cook and drain pasta of your choice.
5. Top pasta with sauce and sprinkle on grated Parmesan.
