Quick and Delicious Ground Beef Pasta Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 28 oz can tomato puree
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/2 TBSP garlic powder
- 2 TBSP oregano
- 1 lb pasta
- Parmesan cheese, grated
- salt and pepper
Directions
- In a dutch oven or large sauce pot add the ground beef and onion and cook over medium heat breaking up beef for about 6 minutes.
- Stir in the tomato puree, water, 2 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of pepper, garlic powder and oregano. Bring to a slight boil.
- Cover and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes stirring occasionally. Salt and pepper to taste.
- Meanwhile cook and drain pasta of your choice.
- Top pasta with sauce and sprinkle on grated Parmesan.
