Quick and Easy No-Knead Bread
A small rustic bread that's crusty on the outside and soft on the inside and ready in about 2 hours with no kneading necessary.

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 1 pkg (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups bread flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp salt
Directions
- In a large glass bowl stir together the all the ingredients (warm water, yeast, bread flour, whole wheat flour, salt) until well combined.
- Loosely cover the bowl and let sit in a warm place to rise for about 1 hour.
- Place a dutch oven (without the lid) into the oven then preheat the oven to 450°F for 30 minutes.
- Use a rubber spatula to scrape the dough onto a piece of parchment paper and try to form the dough into a dome shape (as best a you can, dough will be very wet and will spread as it sits, but thats ok). Let the dough sit and rise for 30 minutes while the dutch oven preheats in the oven.
- Carefully remove the hot dutch oven from the oven then lower the dough with the parchment paper into the dutch oven. Place the lid onto the dutch oven and put it back in the oven. Bake for 30 minutes.
- Carefully remove the bread from the dutch oven and place on a cooling rack until completely cool.
