Slow Cooker Meatballs and Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- Meatballs:
- 2 oz Parmesan cheese, shredded
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 tsp granulated garlic
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 2 TBSP sour cream
- 1/4 tsp granulated onion
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- Sauce:
- 2 TBSP olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups yellow onion, small dice
- 1/2 tsp basil
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 28 oz can tomato puree
- 14 oz water

Directions
- Put all the ingredients for the meatballs in a bowl and mix together with your hands or a potato masher.
- Form 40 2-inch meatballs and place in to pie plates.
- Microwave each pie plate of meatballs for about 4 minutes.
- In the slow cooker combine all the sauce ingredients and stir together.
- Add the meatballs, one by one and discard the drippings on the plate.
- Cover and cook in the slow cooker on low for 4 hours.
- Serve over pasta or as an appetizer with tooth picks.
