Slow Cooker Pork Spare Ribs
Pork spare ribs rubbed with a mixture of mustard, vinegar, and spices then slow cooked until tender and finished under the broiler.

Ingredients
- 2 TBSP apple cider vinegar
- 2 TBSP prepared yellow mustard
- 2 tsp granulated garlic
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 6 pounds pork spare ribs
Directions
- In a small bowl mix together the vinegar, mustard, salt, garlic, onion, black pepper, and cayenne until well combined then set aside.
- Remove the thin membrane from the back side (bone-side) of the ribs.
- Brush the spice mixture allow over the ribs then place them, bone-side down, into a large 6-quart slow cooker. You may need to cut the ribs in half and stack them to fit into the slow cooker.
- Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours or until ribs are tender.
- Preheat the oven broiler to high.
- Carefully transfer the ribs, bone-side down, to a large baking sheet.
- Broil the ribs in the oven until browned, 3 to 4 minutes.
