Smoky Baked Chicken Thighs

Bone-in chicken thighs seasoned with smoked paprika and cumin then baked until crisp.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds bone-in chicken thighs
  • 1 TBSP olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  2. Place the chicken thighs in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken then sprinkle on the smoked paprika, cumin, salt and black pepper. Toss the chicken until everything is evenly coated.

  3. Spread out the chicken thighs, skin-side up, on a large rimmed baking sheet.

  4. Bake the chicken thighs in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

  5. Increase the oven temperature to 425°F and continue to bake the chicken until cooked through and skin is crisp, about 15 more minutes.

  6. Remove the chicken from the oven and allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
