1/2 small head of green cabbage, cored and very thinly sliced
1 granny smith apple, cored and cut into matchstick size pieces
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 TBSP Dijon mustard
1 TBSP red wine vinegar
3 TBSP olive oil
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
salt & pepper
DIRECTIONS
In a large mixing bowl combine the cabbage, apple, and walnuts.
In a separate small bowl mix together the Dijon, vinegar, oil, red pepper flakes, and 1/4 tsp salt until thoroughly combined. Pour into the bowl with the cabbage mix and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
