INGREDIENTS
4 pounds chicken wings, cut into wingettes and drumettes
2 TBSP baking powder
1 TBSP garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
CONVERSION CALCULATOR
DIRECTIONS
Line 2 baking sheets with aluminum foil then place wire baking racks on top.
Place the wings into a large bowl.
In a small bowl mix together the baking powder, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the wings then toss the wings with your hands to coat in the seasoning.
Spread the wings out on the wire racks then refrigerate uncovered for about 5 hours.
Take wings out of fridge and preheat oven to 250°F.
Bake wings in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, rotating the baking sheets halfway through the cooking time.
Turn the oven heat up to 425°F and bake for 45 more minutes, once again rotating the baking sheets halfway through the cooking time.
Take the wings out of the oven and allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
