Turkey Meatball Gyros
Greek style turkey meatball gyros with a homemade tzatziki sauce.

Ingredients
- MEATBALLS:
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
- 1/2 tsp dried marjoram
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- TZATZIKI SAUCE:
- 1/4 cup finely grated cucumber
- 8 ounces plain Greek yogurt
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- TO SERVE:
- 8 whole pita breads
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion
- 8 ounces crumbled feta cheese
- 2 roma tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- In a large mixing bowl thoroughly combine all the meatball ingredients. Form the mixture into balls about 1-inch in diameter (roughly 40 meatballs). Place meatballs on a lightly oiled rimmed baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 14 minutes or until cooked through.
- Mix the tzatziki sauce ingredients together in a bowl until well combined.
- Lay meatballs and toppings in the center of the pita bread and drizzle with the tzatziki sauce. Fold up pita bread, eat, and enjoy.
