1/4 oz pkg of active dry yeast
1 cup warm water
1 tsp honey
3 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/4 TBSPs olive oil
12 oz boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed
1/4 cup red onion, diced
8 oz colby jack cheese, shredded
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
6 TBSPs hot sauce, such as Frank's Red Hot
1 TBSP butter, melted
salt and pepper


1. In a stand mixer bowl combine the yeast, honey and water and let sit for 5 minutes.

2. Add the flour, salt and 1 TBSP of the oil to the bowl.

3. Mix in the stand mixer about 5 to 6 minutes or until the dough comes clean off the side of the bowl, add a little extra flour and/or water if necessary.

4. Oil a large bowl with 1/4 TBSP of the oil. Form the dough into a ball and place into the oiled bowl, cover and let sit 30 minutes.

5. While dough is resting heat the remaining TBSP of oil in a pan over medium heat. Generously season the cubed chicken with salt and pepper and cook in the pan for about 6 to 8 minutes or until cooked through.

6. Place cooked chicken in a bowl and pour 3 TBSPs of the hot sauce over the chicken and toss to coat.

7. In a small bowl combine the remaining 3 TBSPs hot sauce, butter, garlic powder and cayenne.

8. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Roll out the dough to about a 16 inch circle and place on a pizza pan.

9. Spread the hot sauce mixture on the dough evenly, sprinkle on the colby jack cheese then the red onion. Top with the chicken and drizzle any leftover hot sauce from the bowl evenly over the pizza.

10. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
