Tagliatelle with Garlic and Parsley Sauce

Ingredients
9 ounces tagliatelle pasta
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
4 medium garlic cloves, minced
1 bunch Italian parsley leaves, roughly chopped
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
salt and freshly ground pepper
Directions
1. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside reserving about 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water.
2. Add the oil and garlic to a dutch oven or large saucepan over medium heat. Cook garlic while stirring until it becomes fragrant, about 15 seconds. Stir in the parsley and cook while stirring for 1 minute.
3. Add the cooked pasta, Parmesan, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper to the the saucepan. Stir and cook for 1 minute, adding the reserved pasta water a little at a time until it reaches your desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
