Ingredients

1/2 lb sirloin beef, sliced thin
1/2 cup red onion, sliced thin
1/2 cup green pepper, sliced thin
3 TBSP mayonnaise
8 oz Monterey jack cheese, shredded
1/2 TBSP canola oil plus a little more
salt and pepper
For dough:
1 cup warm water
1/4 oz pkg active dry yeast
1 tsp sugar
1 TBSP canola oil
3 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt

Directions

For dough:

1. In large mixing bowl combine yeast, water, oil and sugar. Let sit 5 minutes.

2. Add in the flour and salt and mix until well combined and dough pulls from side of the bowl.

3. Knead dough for 5 minutes.

4. Place dough in a large bowl coated with a little oil and cover.

5. Let dough rise for 30 minutes before shaping.

For pizza:

1. In a non-stick pan heat oil over medium-high. Add the onions and peppers and cook while stirring for 1 minute.

2. Add the beef to the pan and cook while stirring 1 more minute.

3 Take off the heat and add salt and pepper to taste. Drain beef mixture on paper towels and set aside.

4. Preheat the oven to 450° F. Lightly oil your pizza pan or baking sheet with a little oil.

5. Shape your dough into a 16 inch circle (or whatever size your pizza pan is) on place it on your pan.

6. Spread the mayo evenly on the pizza dough then sprinkle on the cheese evenly.

7. Put on the cooked onions, peppers and beef.

8. Bake pizza in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
