Foolproof Soft Boiled Egg

Ingredients
1 large egg, refrigerator temperature
Directions
1. Bring a saucepan of water to a boil over high heat.
2. When water begins to boil take the egg out of the refrigerator and use a slotted spoon to submerge the egg in the boiling water. Place a lid on the pan and cook for exactly 6 minutes.
3. Prepare a bowl of ice water while the egg cooks.
4. After the egg has cooked for 6 minutes use a slotted spoon to transfer the egg to the bowl of ice water and set aside for 2 minutes to prevent further cooking.

Notes/Tips
Cook as many eggs as you like at a time with this method, just make sure that every egg is fully submerged in boiling water when cooking.If you choose to eat the egg out of the shell be careful when peeling because they are delicate.
