1 lb ground beef
3 slices bacon
1 large egg
1 TBSP onion powder
1 TBSP garlic powder
2 TBSP BBQ sauce plus 6 TBSP for a condiment
1/3 cup crushed crackers
1 tsp salt
6 small slices sharp cheddar cheese
6 small yeast rolls

1. In a large bowl mix together the egg, onion powder, garlic powder, 2 TBSP BBQ sauce, crackers and salt. Add the ground beef and mix until well combined.

2. Roll ground beef mixture into 6 balls(about 3oz each). Flatten balls into 4 inch patties, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

3. Place bacon on a griddle and heat to 350°. Cook bacon to desired crispiness and set aside.

4. Cook the burger patties in the bacon fat on the griddle, about 4 minutes per side. While burgers cook heat your rolls and slice in half to accommodate the burgers.

5. Place cheese on each burger then top with bacon. Remove burgers from griddle and place on the bottom half of each roll.

6. Place 1 TBSP BBQ sauce on top of each burger and top with the remaining half of each roll.

7. Serve and enjoy.
