Easy Parmesan and Thyme Polenta

Ingredients
1 cup cornmeal
1 1/2 cups water
2 cups whole milk
1 tsp thyme
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 TBSP unsalted butter
Directions
1. In a medium saucepan bring the water, milk, salt, pepper and thyme to a boil over medium-high heat.
2. Reduce heat to low and stir in the cornmeal. Cook while stirring very often about 20 minutes.
3. Stir in the butter and Parmesan. Take off the heat and serve.
