Chocolate and Salted Caramel Chip Cookies

Ingredients
2 cups granulated sugar
1 1/4 cups unsalted butter
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup cocoa powder
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp table salt
1 tsp baking soda
12 oz salted caramel chips
1 tsp kosher salt
Directions
1. In a large bowl combine the cocoa powder, flour, table salt and baking soda, set aside.
2. In a stand mixer combine the sugar and butter until it becomes creamy. Mix in the eggs and vanilla.
3. Mix the dry ingredient mixture to the butter mixture 1 cup at a time until well incorporated.
4. Stir in the chips until evenly distributed.
5. Preheat oven to 350° F.
6. Spoon 1 TBSP cookie dough at a time on an ungreased baking sheet and bake for 8 to 9 minutes.
7. Sprinkle cookies with the kosher salt and allow to cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
