1 Pound Yukon Gold Potatoes
1 TBSP Butter, unsalted
2 oz Shredded Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 cup Heavy Cream
pinch Cayenne Pepper
1/2 pinch Nutmeg
1 tsp Kosher Salt
1 pinch White Pepper
1 Egg
1 tsp Granulated Garlic


1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2. Liberally butter 12 cupcake cups. (I used silicone muffin cups)

3. Whisk cheddar, heavy cream, cayenne, nutmeg, salt, white pepper and the egg.

4. Slice the potatoes paper thin on a mandolin and mix into the seasoned cream mixture.

5. Fill each cup with coated potatoes pour a little custard on the top of each cup.

6. Bake 30 minutes.

Notes & Tips

Great for any meal. Fry up the leftovers in the morning and serve with eggs.
