Directions
- Cook the bacon over medium-high heat in a medium size saucepan until crispy, about 5 to 6 minutes. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the pan.
- Add the butter to the bacon fat along with the garlic and orzo. Stir for 30 seconds or until fragrant.
- Slowly pour in the chicken broth and stir scraping the bottom of the pan to release any stuck on bits. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to medium-low.
- Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, about 7 to 8 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed.
- Stir in the cooked bacon pieces. Add salt and pepper if necessary and serve.
