Ingredients

1 cup quinoa
2 cups liquid (water or broth)

Directions

1. Rinse quinoa well in a mesh strainer for 30 seconds.

2. Combine liquid and rinsed quinoa in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil.

3. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, 20 to 25 minutes. If it begins to boil too rapidly turn the heat down a little bit.

4. Take off the heat, cover and let sit 5 minutes.

5. Fluff with a fork and serve.
