Ground Turkey Tacos

Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
1 cup diced yellow onion
1 medium clove garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp cumin
1 TBSP chili powder
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 TBSP lime juice
12 hard taco shells or soft tortillas
4 oz monterey jack cheese, shredded
2 cups shredded lettuce
optional:
sour cream
sliced or diced jalapenos
diced avocado
hot sauce
Directions
1. Cook the onions and turkey in a large pan over medium heat, breaking up turkey into small pieces, about 4 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds or until fragrant.
2. Add the water, salt, pepper, cumin and chili powder and cook until liquid has evaporated, 10 to 15 minutes.
3. Take off the heat and stir in the cilantro and lime juice. Fill warmed tortillas with the turkey, cheese, lettuce and any other of your favorite toppings.
