Garlic & Feta Cheese Ball
Servings: 8
Total Time: 4 hours
Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese
8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup finely sliced green onion
1/2 tsp dry dill
1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper
1 cup walnut pieces
crackers or pita chips for serving
Directions
1. Toast walnuts in a skillet over medium heat 1 to 2 minutes. If necessary pulse the walnut pieces a few times in a food processor so they're small but not ground.
2. In a large mixing bowl add the cheeses, garlic, green onion, dill, and pepper and mix until thoroughly and evenly combined. Place the walnuts in a pie plate, roll the cheese mixture into a ball and then roll into the walnut pieces until covered.
3. Cover the cheese ball and refrigerate at least 4 hours to allow flavors to meld. Serve with crackers and/or pita chips.
