Ingredients

1 cup yellow cornmeal
1 cup water
3 cups whole milk
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 TBSP unsalted butter


Directions

1. In a medium saucepan bring the water, milk, salt, and pepper to a boil over high heat (careful not to let it boil over).

2. Reduce heat to low and stir in the cornmeal. Cook while stirring often about 5 minutes.

3. Stir in the butter and Parmesan. Take off the heat and serve.
