Simple Turkey Meatloaf

Total Time: 10 minutes active time, 4 hours total
Ingredients
1/2 cup whole milk
1 1/2 cups hearty bread, cubed in 1/2 inch pieces
2 lbs ground turkey
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Directions
1. In a large mixing bowl add the bread cubes and milk, let sit for 5 minutes to allow bread to soak up all the milk.
2. Add the all the remaining ingredients to the bowl. Using your hands thoroughly mix everything together.
3. Place the turkey mixture onto a large piece of aluminum foil and form into a loaf roughly 4x8 inches. Cover entire mixture with the foil and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours (up to 24 hours) to allow flavors to meld.
4. Preheat oven to 350° F. Remove the foil and place the meatloaf on a flat wire rack on top of a baking sheet.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 1/2 hours or until an internal temperature of 160° F. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes/Tips
Try adding cayenne or hot sauce to the meatloaf mix for a meatloaf with some kick.
