Quick Mushroom Soup

Ingredients
4 TBSP unsalted butter
1 pound sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp dried thyme
salt & pepper
4 cups water
Directions
1. Melt the butter in a dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms and cook, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms are lightly browned, about 10 minutes.
2. Stir in the flour, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, 1 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp pepper until well combined.
3. Stir in the water and bring to a boil.
4. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 15 minutes.
5. Season with additional salt & pepper if necessary.
