Asian Pan Seared Pork Chops

Ingredients
4 bone-in loin chops
2 to 3 TBSP peanut oil
Marinade:
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
2 medium cloves of garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh minced ginger
2 tsp red pepper flakes
Directions
1. Mix together all the marinade ingredients in a small bowl.
2. Place the pork chops in a sealable plastic gallon bag and pour the marinade over top. Seal up the bag and massage the marinade into all the pork chops. Refrigerate for 6 hours flipping the bag over halfway through.
3. Heat 2 TBSP of the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until the oil begins to smoke.
4. Place the chops two at time into the hot oil and let sear without moving for about 4 minutes. Flip the chops over and sear the other side for about 3 minutes. Remove the chops to a plate and cover loosely with foil.
5. Sear the next two chops the same way using more oil if necessary. Place the chops under the foil with the others and allow to rest for 10 minutes.
