Ingredients

Salsa:
1/2 yellow pepper, diced
1/2 red pepper, diced
1/2 cup diced red onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 TBSP capers, chopped
1/2 cup black olives, chopped
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
2 TBSP olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
Pinch freshly ground black pepper
Crostini:
1 medium size baguette (around 10 ounces), sliced at an angle 1/4 inch thick
4 ounces cream cheese, softened at room temperature
2 TBSP olive oil
salt & pepper

Directions

Salsa:

1. Combine all the salsa ingredients in a large bowl, cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.

Crostini:

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush each bread slice on both sides with the olive oil and sprinkle with a little salt & pepper.

2. Bake the bread in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes flipping them over half way through.

3. Remove the bread from the oven and allow to cool for about 10 minutes.

4. Spread the cream cheese on the bread slices and then top with the salsa.
