No Sugar Banana Bread

Moist, fluffy and full of banana flavor, best of all there's no added sugar.

No Sugar Banana Bread recipe

5 large (or 7 small) ripe bananas, peeled
1 TBSP unsalted butter
1/4 cup canola oil
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 cup whole milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt


1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

2. Lay the peeled bananas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the bananas from the oven and allow to cool, about 10 minutes.

3. Reduce the temperature of the oven to 325°F. Coat the inside of a loaf pan (aprrox. 9" x 5" x 2 1/2) with the butter and set aside.

4. When cool place the bananas in a large mixing bowl and mash. Add the oil, eggs, milk, vanilla, flour, baking soda and salt and stir to thoroughly combine.

5. Scrape the batter into the prepared pan and level evenly with a rubber spatula.

6. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool completely before slicing.
