INGREDIENTS

  • 1 TBSP olive oil
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 10 ounces each)



DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large mixing bowl stir together the olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper until well combined then set aside.
  2. Place the chicken breasts into a paper bag then pound them out into an even thickness of about 1/2-inch.
  3. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels then place the chicken into the mixing bowl and flip around to coat evenly in the oil and spices.
  4. Lay the chicken breasts in a single layer into the air fryer basket.
  5. Air fry the chicken at 380°F for 9 minutes.
  6. Flip the chicken breasts over and cook for about another 7 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through (160°F internal temperature).
  7. Transfer the chicken breasts to a plate and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
