INGREDIENTS

  • 4 slices whole wheat bread
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp of onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper



DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Cut the crusts off the bread then cut the bread into 1/2-inch cubes.
  3. Place the cubed bread into a bowl and drizzle the olive oil on top then sprinkle on the garlic, onion, salt, and pepper and toss to coat.
  4. Spread the bread out in a single layer onto a large baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
  6. Take the croutons out of the oven and let sit for 15 more minutes to dry out a bit more.
