DIRECTIONS
THE DOUGH:
Stir together the water and yeast in a large mixing bowl.
Stir the flour, salt, and 1 TBSP of the oil then mix until well combined and dough pulls away from sides of bowl.
Knead the dough in the bowl using your hands for about 10 minutes or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Form the dough into a ball then drizzle with 1 tsp of olive oil and flip the dough ball around to coat in the oil.
Loosely cover the dough and set in a warm place to rise for about 1 hour.
THE ASSEMBLY:
Preheat oven to 450°F and lightly oil a large 16-inch pizza pan.
Punch down the dough and stretch or roll it out onto your pizza pan.
Heat the 1/4 cup of olive oil in a small skillet over medium heat.
Add the garlic and cook while stirring until fragrant, about 5 seconds.
Brush the garlic oil on the pizza dough then sprinkle on the mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 14 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle on the herbs.
