Cook the pasta in a large pot according to package directions then drain the pasta reserving 1/4 cup of the pasta water and set aside.
Stir together the olive oil, chicken, garlic, crushed red pepper, and 1 tsp salt in the now empty pot over medium heat then cook, stirring often, until garlic becomes fragrant, 3 to 4 minutes.
Take the pan off the heat then gently stir in the cooked pasta and reserved pasta water.
