In a large bowl mix together the ground turkey,salt, pepper, cumin, garlic, ginger, cinnamon, coriander, and turmeric until combined.
Form the turkey mixture into 3 burger patties roughly 5-inches in diameter then use your thumb to press shallow indentation in the middle of each burger patty.
Heat a griddle to about 400°F or a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
When the griddle/pan is hot drizzle on the olive oil then lay on the burgers.
Cook the burgers for about 5 minutes then flip and cook an additional 5 to 7 minutes or until the burgers are cooked through.
MAKE THE RAITA: Pit and peel the avocado then mash it well in a bowl. Mix in the yogurt, lime juice, cumin, salt & pepper until combined.
Serve your burgers on the buns with the raita, lettuce, sliced onion, and jalapenos.
