Servings: 3
Total Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1/4 cup freshly chopped cilantro
2 TBSP soy sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 TBSP peanut oil
SPICY GARLIC SLAW:
5 ounces (about 2 cups) finely shredded cabbage
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Directions
1. In a large mixing bowl mix together the ground turkey, egg, green onion, cilantro, soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic. Form the mixture into 3 equal size patties roughly the same diameter as your burger buns.
2. In a separate small bowl thoroughly mix together the SPICY GARLIC SLAW ingredients and set aside.
3. Heat the peanut oil in a large cast-iron pan over medium heat. When the oil is hot cook the burger patties until browned and cooked through, about 6 minutes per side.
