Fontina and Herb Turkey Meatloaf

A turkey meatloaf made with ground turkey, fontina cheese, garlic, oregano, thyme, and rosemary.

Fontina and Herb Turkey Meatloaf recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup dried breadcrumbs
  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 5 ounces fontina cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper



Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. In a large mixing bowl stir together the milk and breadcrumbs and let sit for about 5 minutes to allow the breadcrumbs to soak up the milk.

  3. Add the all the remaining ingredients to the bowl and use your hands to thoroughly mix everything together.

  4. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper then place the turkey mixture on top and form into a loaf shape roughly 5x9x2-inches.

  5. Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 45 minutes

  6. Increase the oven temperature to 425°F and continue to cook the meatloaf an additional 15 minutes or until the meatloaf has an internal temperature of 160°F.

  7. Take the meatloaf out of the oven and allow to rest for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
