A spicy green sauce made up of mayonnaise, cilantro, jalapenos, garlic, queso fresco, and lime juice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro, large stems removed
  • 2 jalapenos, ends trimmed
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 3 ounces queso fresco
  • 1 TBSP fresh lime juice
  • salt & freshly ground black pepper



DIRECTIONS

  1. Add the mayonnaise, cilantro, jalapenos, garlic ricotta, lime juice, and 1/4 tsp salt to a a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Taste sauce and season with additional salt & pepper if needed.

Notes

If you can't find queso fresco you can substitute whole milk ricotta cheese or a mild feta cheese.
