Pork and Sage Meatloaf
A pork meatloaf made with fresh sage and garlic that's moist on the inside and brown and crispy on the outside.

Ingredients
- 1 cup dried breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 pounds ground pork
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1 TBSP finely chopped fresh sage
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper

Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Mix together the breadcrumbs and milk in a large mixing bowl and set aside for 5 minutes to allow the breadcrumbs to soak up the milk.
- Add the onion, garlic, pork, egg, sage, salt, and pepper to the bowl and mix until thoroughly combined.
- Shape the mixture into a rectangle roughly 5x8x2 inches and place on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
- Increase the heat to 425°F and bake for 15 to 20 more minutes or until well browned on the outside and meatloaf has an internal temperature of at least 160°F.
- Remove meatloaf from the oven and allow to sit for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
