Homemade Creme Fraiche

Ingredients
2 cups (16 ounces) heavy cream
3 TBSP cultured buttermilk
Directions
1. Stir the heavy cream and buttermilk together in a glass jar. Cover the jar with cheesecloth or other breathable material. Let the jar sit out at room temperature for 24 hours.
2. Place a tight lid on the jar and place the Crème fraîche in the fridge for 24 hours before using. Store up to 6 weeks in the fridge.
