Classic Meatloaf
An easy to make American style meatloaf made with ground beef and pork and topped with a sweet and tangy glaze.

Ingredients
- MEATLOAF:
- 1 cup dried fine breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 yellow onion, finely chopped
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 2 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- GLAZE:
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 1 TBSP red wine vinegar
- 1 TBSP raw honey
- 1/8 tsp salt
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large mixing bowl combine the breadcrumbs and milk and let sit for 5 minutes to allow the breadcrumbs to soak up the liquid.
- Combine the remaining MEATLOAF ingredients to the bowl and mix well, using your hands, until well combined.
- Shape the beef mixture into a rectangle roughly 5x8x2-inches and place on a rimmed baking sheet.
- In a small bowl mix together the GLAZE ingredients then spread it evenly on the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cooked through (155°F).
- Allow to sit for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
