In a large bowl mix together the yeast and water. Stir in the flour, 2 TBSP oil, garlic, salt, oregano, parsley, and basil until well combined and a dough is formed. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured work surface and knead for 5 minutes.
Form the dough into a smooth ball and place into a large clean bowl. Drizzle the 1 tsp of oil over the dough ball. Flip the dough around a couple times to cover in the oil. Loosely cover the dough and set in a warm place to rise for 1 hour.
Punch down the dough and separate into 8 equal size balls. Roll the dough balls into breadstick shapes roughly 7-inches long and 1/2-inch thick. Place the breadsticks on a baking sheet at least 1-inch apart. Sprinkle a little flour on the top of the breadsticks and let sit for another 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Bake the breadsticks in the preheated oven for 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly golden.
Take the breadsticks out of the oven and brush the tops with the melted butter.
