INGREDIENTS

  • 1 large red bell pepper, seeded and roughly chopped
  • 4 medium garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1 medium shallot, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 2 TBSP fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • salt & freshly ground black pepper



DIRECTIONS

  1. Add the bell pepper, garlic, shallot, and lemon juice to a food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl then stir in the paprika, cayenne, olive oil, 1 tsp salt, and 1/8 tsp black pepper until well combined.
  3. Taste and season with additional salt and freshly ground black pepper, if needed.
