Garlic Parmesan Baked Mushrooms

Ingredients
1 lb button mushrooms
1 egg
1 TBSP mayo
2 TBSP cold butter
6 pieces hearty white bread
3 TBSP garlic powder
3 TBSP parsley
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 TBSP black pepper
2 tsp salt
ranch dressing, for dipping
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 450° F
2. Combine the bread and butter in a food processor and pulse about 15 times. Mix the crumbs in a shallow bowl with the garlic powder, parsley, parmesan, salt and pepper.
3. Clean mushrooms and set aside.
4. In another bowl mix the egg and mayo.
5. One by one dip the mushrooms in the egg mixture then coat in the bread crumb mixture. Place mushrooms on a wire rack above a sheet pan.
6. Bake mushrooms for 15 to 20 minutes or until crispy.
7. Serve with ranch dressing as a dipping sauce.

Uhh, where's the parmesan?
I'm confused. Is there, like, grated parmesan cheese in this recipe?
Or is 'parmesan' just a word used here in some other way?
