INGREDIENTS
1 1/4 cups warm water
1 package (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
2 cups bread flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 tsp salt
1 TBSP olive oil plus a little extra
pizza sauce and toppings of your choice

DIRECTIONS
Stir together the yeast and water in a large mixing bowl then set aside for 5 minutes to allow the yeast to hydrate.
Stir in the flours and salt then knead by hand for about 5 minutes.
Form the dough into a ball then loosely cover the bowl and set aside for 45 minutes to allow the dough to rise.
Lightly oil a 14-inch pizza pan then stretch the dough to fit onto the pan.
Brush 1 TBSP of olive oil on the dough then set aside for 30 more minutes to rise a little more.
Preheat the oven to 475°F.
Bake the dough in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
Take the dough out of the oven then spread on your sauce and add your toppings.
Place back in the oven and bake for 10 to 12 more minutes.
