Banana Cinnamon Oat Waffles

Healthy gluten-free and sugar-free waffles made with rolled oats, ground cinnamon, and fresh banana.

Banana Cinnamon Oat Waffles recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 large ripe banana, peeled and sliced
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 TBSP baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • optional: fresh fruit and/or yogurt for serving



Directions

  1. Add the rolled oats to a blender and blend into a fine powder.

  2. Add the sliced banana, milk, eggs, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt to the blender then blend until smooth.

  3. Pour the mixture onto a lightly greased preheated waffle iron and cook until lightly browned.

  4. Makes about 4 waffles.
