Ingredients
- 8 ounces ground pork
- 8 ounces ground beef
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 6 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
- 2 Roma tomatoes, chopped
- 18 taco shells

Directions
- Add the pork, beef, and onion to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook while breaking up the pork and beef with a spatula until meats are no longer pink and onion is softened, about 8 minutes.
- Stir in the water, paprika, garlic, cumin, salt, and cayenne pepper and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook, while occasionally breaking up the meat, until the liquid in the pan has evaporated, about 10 more minutes.
- Take the pan off the heat, taste and season with additional salt & pepper if necessary.
- Warm the taco shells according to package directions.
- Serve the meat in the taco shells topped with cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes.
