Ground pork, ground beef, onion, and spices cooked in a skillet then served in taco shells topped with sharp cheddar, iceberg lettuce, and freshly diced tomato.
Add the pork, beef, and onion to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook while breaking up the pork and beef with a spatula until meats are no longer pink and onion is softened, about 8 minutes.
Stir in the water, paprika, garlic, cumin, salt, and cayenne pepper and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook, while occasionally breaking up the meat, until the liquid in the pan has evaporated, about 10 more minutes.
Take the pan off the heat, taste and season with additional salt & pepper if necessary.
Warm the taco shells according to package directions.
Serve the meat in the taco shells topped with cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes.
