Crunchy Ground Pork and Beef Tacos

Ingredients
8 ounces ground pork
8 ounces ground beef
1 medium yellow onion, diced
1/2 cup water
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
6 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
3 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
2 Roma tomatoes, chopped
18 taco shells
Directions
1. Add the pork, beef, and onion to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook while breaking up the pork and beef with a spatula until meats are no longer pink and onion is softened, about 8 minutes.
2. Stir in the water, paprika, garlic, cumin, salt, and cayenne pepper and bring to a boil.
3. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook, while occasionally breaking up the meat, until the liquid in the pan has evaporated, about 10 more minutes.
4. Take the pan off the heat, taste and season with additional salt & pepper if necessary.
5. Warm the taco shells according to package directions.
6. Serve the meat in the taco shells topped with cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes.
